In 1992 we left Holland to settle down in Hurecourt, a small village on the outskirts of the Vosges, France. A place known for its rare fields of abundant daffodils in the early springtime.
Incredible but true: we were able to purchase this
daffodil-hill along with its two natural terraces! It was then that our idea to create a small,
peaceful camp site and share this small paradise with you, was born.
It took us years to complete the site because we did everything ourselves. We believe we accomplished our dream to transfer the hill into a camp site without disturbing the natural beauty of the area. In fact, birds of prey can be seen flying over the valley and in the evening troupes of deer leave the wood to graze on the grass lands around the camp site.
